In a recent post on the MIT Academy Instagram, GTA superintendent David Yoshihara espoused a stream of accusatory, insensitive, and overal patronizing non-points against the students who've recently complained and protested about the 8-hour schedule of our new COVID-19 virtual learning schedule.[1] As a result of this, a special board meeting was called at about 1800 hours on Tuesday, September 15th. The first part of the agenda was to discuss the parents, teachers, student body's issues with this schedule. The ensuing meeting ended up a complete mess.
Many students voiced their concerns and woes in the meeting, each with a 2-minute time limit. By law (I believe the Ralph M. Brown Act)
